Short Straight Line Skates
Short straight line skates utilize many of the same features of their longer counterpart in a shorter frame. Two rows of tandem rollers in a shorter, fully welded steel frame gives excellent stability under load. These skates are favored for handling heavier jobs for machinery movers, riggers, stevedores and contractors. Capacities range from 6 tons to 30 tons per skate, and as with our long straight line skates, short straight line skates come equipped with either durable steel rollers for all-purpose moving, or polyurethane rollers for surfaces that require maximum protection.
Slim Straight Line Skates
When moving space is limited, but you still need the same high capacity and durability to ensure a smooth and accurate move, only Hevi-Haul slim straight line skates will do. Slim straight line skates are based on the same concepts as our long and short skates in a narrower frame. A single row of tandem rollers in a fully welded steel frame provides heavy duty moving capabilities where space is limited. Capacities for slim straight line skates range from 2.5 tons to 12.5 tons per skate.
